How to request deletion

Dinyol account deletion is currently requested inside the mobile app.

Open the app, sign in to the account you want to remove, then go to Settings > Account > Delete Account and confirm the request.

If your account uses email and password sign-in, the app may ask for your current password before deletion is scheduled. Accounts signed in through Google or Apple may not require a password at this step.

What happens immediately

When you confirm deletion, your account is moved into a pending deletion state. The account is deactivated immediately, active sessions are invalidated, and you are signed out from the app.

Push notification device tokens linked to your account are removed as part of the deletion request flow.

90-day reactivation window

After deletion is requested, Dinyol keeps the account in a 90-day recovery window before permanent purge.

During that period, you can reactivate the account from the sign-in flow by choosing the reactivation path and confirming the email OTP sent to the account email address.

If you reactivate in time, the pending deletion status is cancelled and the account becomes active again.

What is removed after the final purge

If the 90-day window expires without reactivation, Dinyol permanently purges user-owned account content and anonymizes the remaining account record.

The original email address is released after purge by replacing it with a deleted placeholder address, which allows the previous email to be used again for a future account.

Some limited technical, security, or audit records may be retained where needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse handling, or service protection.

• Profile data and avatar references.
• Bookmarks and bookmark folders.
• Daily tracker entries, ayah notes, khatmah plans, and Quran reading progress.
• Notification device tokens.
• AI chat threads, conversations, messages, and related usage events associated with the account.
